Precision Ultrasound Imaging uses the latest technology in ultrasound systems to produce excellent image quality. The systems are equipped with pulse and continuous wave, color and power Doppler, and tissue harmonic imaging enabling a diagnostic study on even the most technically challenging patients.

Latest Technology

Philips and GE equipment are utilized for diagnostic imaging purposes. Unetixs equipment is utilized for non-invasive vascular procedures.  Updates are made every 5 years to stay abreast of the developments in the ultrasound medical imaging industry. Our providers and patients can rest assured that the very best of imaging is available when contracting or scheduling our services.

Well Maintained Equipment

Our customers are also aware that each piece of equipment is maintained through service contract agreements for the life of the system with Precision Ultrasound Imaging. Each piece of equipment receives yearly preventative maintenance as well as service as needed through our OEM.

Outpatient Services in Our Office

Our office is located at 105 Katherine Drive, Building B, Suite B1, Flowood, MS 39232. 

Outpatient diagnostic ultrasound studies can be conveniently scheduled through our exam scheduler tab listed under services on our website or by contacting our office at 601-573-0577. The appointment scheduler has available exams with preps, times and dates listed. Once the patient is scheduled, please fax order to 601-939-6775. Only referring providers can use this portal to schedule appointments.  

Utilizing the exam scheduler on website, notifies our office of patient's appointment as well as sends a text message with appointment time to the patient. 

  • Appointments are available Monday through Friday.

  • Same-day appointments are available in most cases.

  • A valid, written referral from the physician or nurse practitioner is required and must be faxed when patient is scheduled and prior to arrival for appointment. 

Nursing Home & Home Health Services

Convenience

Our portable bedside service is convenient for both the patient and their nurse. There are no hassles of transporting the patient to another facility, which also leads to cost savings to the nursing home by evading an expensive ambulance or other transport services.

For the home health patient, there would be no need for family members or ambulance services to transport the patient to the local hospital for the same services.

Patient Comfort

The patient is able to remain in his/her room, allowing him/her to be at ease and more relaxed. The patient can stay comfortably in a familiar environment and avoid the anxiety of moving to another unfamiliar location.

Fast Reports

Immediate preliminary results are given within one hour for most exams. All images are available immediately for viewing by the referring physician on our HIPAA compliant web-based PACS and reporting system.

All reports will be faxed as soon as interpreted. You can also view and print them from our secure website from any web-enabled computer.
